HOW DREWOR CAME TO BE

It’s great to see you here! Well, I’m writing this post a second time because I want to better explain how Drewor came to be.

It all started when I hadn't slept for at least three days (I sometimes struggled with insomnia). Back then, I only knew how to draw on sheets of paper—and not very well, either. It was November 2023.

I was lying in bed staring at the ceiling with a notebook beside me and a pen and pencil tossed haphazardly on the other side. It was probably a Saturday, a Sunday, or even a holiday, since I remember classes hadn't ended yet. I started making random sketches with a memory of Ranfren in my mind. (In case you don't know, I first encountered Ranfren in 2016. I was very young then and didn't really know how to navigate the internet; since I didn't know how to explore the web, I never saw Randal's image on my screen again. And yes, back in 2016—when I was six—I was obsessed with redheads because I thought the hair color was beautiful and striking, so seeing a redhead character felt like finding a diamond.) Fast forward about seven years to 2023, when Ranfren blew up online and I finally rediscovered it. I drew inspiration from Ranfren because I really love that art style, and I did some research to learn more about it.

As for creating the characters, it started with Kitty, Lolla, Lillyth, and Litty. Overcome by sleepiness, I tossed the sketches aside and passed out for nearly a whole day. The next day, I finished the characters who would become Kitty's friends: Maby Kami, Hina Nakaito, and Hakamy Hashi. . I finished the main character (Kitty Foryzza) in December and completed the others in January 2024. Since then, I’ve been making comics and drawings, trying to improve my digital art style. When I finally realized it was time to build the site, I created it in April 2025—though it stayed on the "in-progress" screen for quite a while because I didn't know how to use Neocities yet.

Originally, *Kitty in the Dream World* was going to be called "Crazy Friends." I tried building it using free Google sites (which actually didn't turn out too badly), but I gave up shortly after because I couldn't figure out how to make it public; I'll probably include a photo of what it looked like below.
